Painting (Interior & Exterior)

Painting is an easy way to freshen up a home and make it look clean and modern again. Interior painting usually includes walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Exterior painting keeps siding, trim, and doors protected from sun and weather damage and helps prevent peeling or fading. Prep work like cleaning, sanding, light scraping, caulking, and priming makes the finish last longer. With a good paint job, the home looks nicer, feels newer, and stays better protected.

Staining

Staining is for wood that you want to show off rather than cover with paint. It brings out the natural grain while protecting against sun, moisture, and everyday wear. It’s commonly used on decks, fences, cedar siding, pergolas, and interior wood features. Maintenance is important with stain—especially on outdoor decks—because it helps the wood last longer and keeps the color looking good.

Drywall

Drywall is what creates the smooth walls and ceilings inside your home. It involves hanging the sheets, taping seams, adding joint compound, sanding, and applying texture when needed. Drywall repairs include fixing holes, cracks, and water-damaged spots, and then matching the texture so it looks like nothing ever happened. The goal is a clean, paintready surface.

Decks

Decks create extra outdoor living space for relaxing, grilling, or entertaining. They can be built from wood or composite materials and can be customized with stairs, railings, and different layouts. Older decks can often be repaired instead of replaced. This might include swapping out damaged boards, tightening or reinforcing structure, fixing railings, or restaining/sealing the surface. Regular maintenance helps decks last longer and stay safe.

Flooring

Updating flooring can change the look of a room instantly and make it feel cleaner and newer. Options include LVP, laminate, hardwood, tile, or carpet, depending on budget and style. Flooring work usually involves removing old flooring, prepping the subfloor, installing new material, and adding trim or transitions between rooms. Good installation helps prevent squeaks, gaps, or uneven spots.

Bathroom Remodels

Bathroom remodels can be as simple as updating finishes or as big as tearing everything down to the studs and starting over. Common upgrades include new showers or tubs, tile, vanities, counters, sinks, flooring, lighting, paint, and better storage. People remodel bathrooms for comfort, style, water efficiency, and to fix old plumbing or moisture damage. It’s a popular upgrade that adds everyday convenience and resale value.

Kitchen Remodels

Kitchen remodels are one of the most impactful improvements in a home. They may involve new cabinets, countertops, sinks, faucets, flooring, backsplash tile, lighting, appliances, and paint. Layout changes are also possible if the goal is better flow or more storage. Whether small or full-scale, kitchen upgrades can make the space more functional for daily use and more appealing for entertaining or resale.

Carpentry

Carpentry includes everything from framing and structural work to the finer details you see inside the home. Rough carpentry builds the bones of the structure, while finish carpentry includes trim, molding, doors, shelving, and built-ins. Carpentry repairs are also common, especially when dealing with wood rot, damaged trim, or areas that need fixing before other work like flooring or painting can happen.
