Steve Ruiz is a licensed New Mexico General Contractor (GB-98) with decades of experience in construction, facilities maintenance, and leadership. He has owned and operated multiple construction businesses and currently leads Cross Cut Carpentry, LLC, specializing in residential remodels, repairs, and project management with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and integrity.

In addition to his contracting work, Steven has served in facilities and maintenance leadership roles for large church and nonprofit campuses, overseeing building operations, safety systems, renovations, and staff and volunteer teams. His background includes managing complex facilities and acting as a construction liaison for major expansions and improvements.

Ministry has been a lifelong calling for Steve. He has served in local church leadership, international missions, and disaster relief, and currently serves as an IFOC Chaplain and First Responder Chaplain, providing support and spiritual care to first responders and their families.

Steve’s work reflects a commitment to building well, maintaining faithfully, and serving others with excellence and compassion.
